Using Google Tools to support the Common Core
Google Tools offers much more than a search engine to help students become college and career ready. This session will feature advanced Search and other Google tools to help students communicate, comprehend, critique, process content, work with complex text and more. (Participants without Google Accounts should create a Google username and password ahead of time) (K-8)
Digital Storytelling with Mobile Devices
Learn to use iPads or mobile tools in kids' pockets (i.e. cell phones, iPod touches, Smart phones) to increase student learning of new literacies through digital storytelling. Bring your mobile device and the ability to download free or low cost apps and come prepared to learn and practice the skills of creating, collaborating, and communicating. (4-8)

Combining STEM education with today’s technology gives us the tools we need to help students understand and master these related cycles of learning.
